Join us for the debut of “Personal Gold: An Underdog Story“, a feature-length documentary following four female cyclists who, against all odds, became medalists at the London Olympics at a time when the men’s team was banned in the midst of the Lance Armstrong drug scandal. Though underfunded, these women turned to an innovative ‘Quantified Self’ experiment using ‘Data not Doping’ in an attempt to win the first women’s medal in 20 years. It’s an incredible story, and a great film.
Hosted by Quantified Self co-founder Gary Wolf, this exclusive event features a pre-distribution screening in the newly renovated Cowell Theater followed by a live Q&A featuring Olympic medalist and film subject Dotsie Bausch, the film’s director, Olympian Tamara Christopherson, producer and world record holder Sky Christopherson, co-producer and Olympian Adam Laurent, and cast member Dr. Gil Blander from InsideTracker.
